About the great wall of china
The Great Wall of China was built in sections by small states. The First Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi ordered the sections of the wall to be connected into one big wall. Today, the great wall of China is 7300 km long. The wall has watchtowers every kilometer or so for the Emperor's soldiers so they can spot enemies trying to invade. There are also forts every 30 kilometers along the wall. As well as being a barrier against invaders, the wall was also used as a communication network. Soldiers signaled each other using bonfires and messengers.
In the qin dynasty the great wall of china was built with weeds and stone and soil because they couldn't carry big heavy stones for kilometer so they had to use local materials. the soil and the weeds and the stone where mixed together and then reamed so it is would become as hard as rock. in the han they use the same tecnec with the reamed mix. they add stone bricks onto the outside of the wall and then pasted tiles on the walk way on the wall.
